Maura Brennan Valentine is a California based photographer and artist. Her creative and prolific work pays homage to the beauty of nature, and to the lifestyle of California and the West.
Much of her work explores the unique imagery made with panoramas and multiple exposures. She uses a simple, plastic medium format camera called the Holga. Her Gelatin Silver black and white photographs are printed in the darkroom.
Maura studied Studio Art at SUNY at Cortland, and University of Texas at Austin. She took photography classes at Valley College, and was an assistant at Los Angeles Center for Photography. Her photographs have been in exhibitions throughout the United States. Born in Tucson, Maura currently resides in Los Angeles.
